Sostenibilità sociale e parità di genere: ieri oggi e domani

With a view to considering the gender gap in the workplace, Si.Qu.Am. is happy to invite you on 17 October to the conference ‘Social Sustainability and Gender Equality: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’ at the G. Spadolini Auditorium of Palazzo del Pegaso in Florence.

The event will focus on the presence of women in Tuscan companies and the element of gender certification and will be coordinated by Silvia Ramondetta, Head of the Economic Area of Confindustria Toscana and Coordinator Digital Innovation Hub Toscana.

Natalia Faraoni, IRPET researcher in Social and Economic Sciences, will address the first topic with a reflection on gender inequality. This will be followed by a speech by Claudia Martelli, head of the Si.Qu.Am. certification area, focusing on the evolution of the demand for gender certification and how it represents a concrete opportunity for companies. Also present will be Antonio Mazzeo and Maurizio Bigazzi, respectively President of the Regional Council of Tuscany and President of Confindustria Toscana, Toscana Centro and Costa.

There will then be a round table discussion among the business community on social sustainability and gender equality. Companies will be given the floor, in particular as:

The conference will conclude with a speech by Francesca Posarelli, President of the Piccola Industria di Confindustria Toscana..
